SENIOR INVESTMENT BANKER JOINS PUK


21/02/2005 Andrew Rose, a senior investment banker with expertise in infrastructure investment is to join the Board of Partnerships UK. Andrew will lead PUK’s work on finance related activities focusing on major PPP and PFI projects and PUK’s own finance activities. James Stewart, Chief Executive of PUK said “I’m delighted that Andrew will be joining PUK. His global experience in the field of infrastructure financing and his experience with closing major transactions will be a great asset to us and the Public Sector. Andrew will add a further dimension to PUK’s business and strengthen our financial capability in debt and equity”. Andrew Rose said “PUK has already demonstrated its value in the public sector arena. With its unique role in the market place I look forward to making a real contribution in helping to drive forward PUK’s agenda and supporting the development of the PFI and PPP market” Andrew Rose, 45, joined PUK from CIBC World Markets where he was Managing Director of its Infrastructure team. He has lead banking teams on the Metronet and Skynet transactions where £4 billion of finance was raised. He spent 17 years at CIBC working in Dallas, Chicago and London. Married with 3 children, Andrew is also a keen runner and golfer and in 1982 participated as an amateur golfer in The Open Championship at Troon. NOTES TO EDITORS 1.
